Lampasas area guys I need some help please.

I am shooting a sporting clays tournament next weekend (OCT 9/10) at the Austin County Gun Club south of Lampasas on 281. I signed up late and all the hotels the club recommends are booked for the night of the 9th which is what I need.

Their recommendations were in Lampasas and Burnet. I am not familiar with that area enough to know which way I should go to look for another set of hotels. Is Marble Falls the next best option? I am looking for 'Best Western' / 'Quality Inn type places.

Any safe hole in the wall places you guys know of in that area?

marble falls is good but likely full as well if the event is pretty big. Lampasas has 2 hotels I believe. Not sure how many MF has

This. You should be able to find something in Killeen pretty easy.

I would look into marble fall then liberty hill then Leander. Not sure you will want to deal with all the Ft Hood traffic in Killeen

Theres a comfort inn in Burnet that’s decent. My FIL stays there occasionally
