      Depends on where you are and what the deer have for cover. I have a few cedars that are full to the ground on a point overlooking a creek bed for instance that I limbed up on one side. Not sure if they are being used...haven't been in there but will put a camera on one after the season. I've heard of people in Oklahoma, Kansas doing this on south facing slopes. Cedars are good wind blockers and thermal cover.
