    Made a little bone broth

    Used some whitetail bones and a few store bought beef rib bones and made some broth to freeze for later. I did smoked bones this time instead of roasting them off in the oven. Turned out nice.

      What vaccum sealer do you use ? I'd like to look at getting one I can seal liquid in .. nice job!!

        Food Saver pro. Trick is letting the back hang off the counter and it will vacuum and seal.

                Bone broth is great stuff, but with CWD I wouldn’t use deer bones.

                            Or you can freeze in a plastic bowl or container and then vacuum pack the frozen block.

                              I do this and it works great. Last time I made some I put it into the extra large silicone trays for whiskey ice and it worked great too


                              I never thought of smoke them, will have to try that this time. Do you cover em in tomato paste, that what I’ve always done before roasting
