      tripletail
      pompano
      mangrove snapper

I don't know if I can just choose one. Flounder are good but I'm not as crazy about them as alot of folks are.

Do yall catch alot of pomps in the bay?

Forgot about mangroves.... they are some fine eating and maybe better than flounder. I do love some stuffed flounder though.

Mangrove is hard to beat. Haven't caught one in years though

You could probably have mullet with all that other stuff on there.

I catch some pomps in the bay every year. Never a whole lot but some days 2 or 3. I've caught them around the passes but also have caught them on reefs.

We catch them behind the house in Gulf Breeze, I don’t have a clue about Texas though.

That's wild and pretty cool! I've caught them in the surf but never in the bay.

I really need to figure out how to catch them better. I'll catch a few in the surf but never can load up on them. Some fine eating

They are just bycatch or bonus fish for me. I don't target them.

Matagorda I hear is a great place to target them. I think there is a guide that specializes in tripletail
