Rattle and make noise or sit quietly???

I'm in a pop up for an all day sit since the wife is out of town. I hit the horns together for a couple of minutes about 1000. And I got to thinking if it was a good idea or if I should sit quietly. Do you rattle and use scents or just sit quietly?

Is the rut on where you’re hunting?

No evidence. I'm in Coryell County today

If sitting in a pop-up, I personally wouldn't rattle as the sound produced inside is going to be a unnatural sound on the outside. I've had my best results while on a tripod, up in a tree, sitting in brush, or next to a tree in the open.
          Good luck with your hunt.

I’ve leave the rattling horns alone. This cold front should get them on their feet. Best of luck sir.

I use evercalm and deer herd in a stick and rub it on the windows for scent.
IMO it's to late for rattling but that's up north where we hunt.
              Enjoy your hunt/nap

Heck, I'd try them if nothing else is happening.

I’ve rattled before with deer in front of me just to see what happens and they never spook. Rattling may not help but it won’t hurt.

Rattle. You can only watch your phone so long.

                        I like it.

I sat in that blind all day yesterday. Woke up with a bad headache this morning. Anyone ever have that problem?

Where I hunt, unless there is a fool proof backdrop down wind, rattling is a sure way to make mature deer circle down wind.

Heck there was a guy posting on here last month I believe that it seemed the more noise and racket he made the more the big bucks showed up.

Rattling in a pop up isnt good. Rattling in windy conditions isnt productive. Something to keep in mind.
