I know you wanted something different but, I use the Spicy Montreal Steak Seasoning. I think it’s a little better than original.

That uncle Chris is great on venison too. I rub a deer shoulder with it and throw it in a big insta pot. Add potato’s, carrots, onions...Even people who claim to hate venison eat it.

I haven’t tried Uncle Chris’ yet.

Recently I picked up a bottle of Hutchins BBQ brisket seasoning and it’s fantastic any kind of beef. I found it at Buccee’s.

Otherwise I’m usually plain old coarse ground Kosher salt and coarse ground black pepper with a little bit of garlic powder.

Uncle Chris or Texas style steak seasoning. Both of them are made by Fiesta.

Coopers BBQ sells some that is my favorite, but I never get down there to buy it.

Salt, pepper (both sides) and instant coffee (one side). Sometimes I will spoon melted butter seasoned with a rosemary sprig while resting.

I have almost totally gone away from using the grill. I now am a big believer in Sous Vide and then searing in a hot skillet. No more guessing whether it is cooked right.

Dale's Steak Seasoning. Do not marinate more than about 5 minutes or it get's too salty.

I've done Uncle Chris, Chupacabra extra spice, and Montreal. I like them all in addition to Cavenders Greek Seasoning on steaks, but I probably prefer Uncle Chris over them all.

That being said, I think I'm going to start going more towards the Course Ground Black Pepper, Sea Salt, and Garlic...
