    4 Days Left!

Well boys, the wife and I have been teaching and coaching high sports for 34 years. We're calling it quits at the end of this school year. Both of us decided to retire together. Its a weird, scary and exciting feeling all at the same time. Its gonna be different not doing something after you've done it for 34 years. It may not hit us right away because June and July will just feel like our normal summers (without the summer workouts). But when August rolls around, its gonna feel pretty weird not getting ready for a school year. We've been fortunate that the last few schools we've been, we've both been at the same school together. We've had a great ride and made some great memories. Worked with some fine coaches, and coached some great kids. We're hoping this next chapter in our lives turns out just as great. Wish us luck.

Congratulations! I was a Band director for 30 years and retired in 2018. It will feel strange in August, but it won’t take long to get used to it! You’ll soon be thinking “How in the world did I do that for so many years?!” Enjoy your retirement—you have both definitely earned it!!

Thank you and your bride for investing in the lives of our youth. As the spouse of a 26 year teacher/coach, you are all immensely under valued and under appreciated. Thank you both again for serving, its a calling. May God bless you 10 fold in y'alls retirement.
