I really hate carrying handguns while hunting. Qualified with 45 with no problem every 6 months but still see them as ineffective. I have practiced with expired cans of spray and do not feel much better about deploying one of those in the heat of the moment. If I need spray I hope I do not klutz it up ..getting it out of the holder, pulling the blue thing and sending a stream. Disadvantage of handgun is that it eliminates the possibility of a bluff charge.
