Infared on Xbow?

Want to put a hurting on nocturnal hogs. Anyone put a cheap 3 or 4x infared on a xbow?

I have an ATN X Sight II on my crossbow...I would prefer thermal but the ATN has held up well. Has different reticle choices and one that's perfect for my Tenpoint Turbo GT.

3-4x will be too much IMO. A simple 1-1.5x thermal would be ideal. Yes it’s been done. They are neat

My property is deep woods. No real shots past 50 yds. I have measured every tree from my stand with a wheel so can range anything real quick. If I zeroed at 25 I could figure out point of aim pretty quickly along any rectile. Most shots are gonna be under 30 yards.

Idk what you consider cheap but those AGM rattlers would suffice. $2100ish.

Ahh subjectivity, my old nemesis. When I said “cheap” infrared I meant 200 bucks lmao.
