Geez that place exploded!!!!! I hadn’t been there in about 15-17 years. We drove out there to show my boys the “lil fishing town “and we were floored by the expansion !

It has grown quite a bit just in the last 6-7 years since we've been down here. We did enjoy taking part in the boat parade today, for the most part the majority of folks are friendly and just have a good time. There are a few bad apples around. Its definitely not getting any cheaper to own anything here

POC has become Corpus without the infrastructure.

I started fishing POC in 1979, it’s definitely changed a lot since then but still one of my favorite places on earth. We have a house in Rockport but make 4 or 5 trips a year to POC by boat (usually during the week to avoid the crowds).

We looked around POC last year and it's a hard pass for us. Seadrift is not bad for a fishing town and neither is Austwell.

I still like Rockport. Port Mansfield would be the place I would like to be, but dang that is a long drive.
