Weve had the conversation numerous times. Well last September it got started. Home studies, training sessions, background checks, fingerprints, medical screenings, more home studies, home inspections. Interviews with our kids. (11yo boy and 9yo girl).

We were informed today that we are officially licensed foster parents in the great state of Texas.

Congrats brother. Me and my wife have been doing it for a year now and have had several toddler boys since then. We are praying that we get to keep the one we have now and have one on the way due in December also. Its a awesome feeling but can be very stressful also dealing with everyone! But its worth it. You will have people coming over monthly all the time for visits once you get a kid in the home. Thank you for doing this and congrats again.
