    Elk cow price?

What does an elk cow go for on a high fence ranch? Just wanting to know average price that most game ranches sell them for.

Prices are all over the map. I’ve seen them $1,200-$2,600 for cows

So $1500-$1750 is a fair price for the ranch and hunter?

I would say yes. The accommodations and other services provided will factor into it.

Very comfortable, barndo, but not 5 star, they charge $150/night on top of hunt. Meals included.

~$600 if you go hunt one on Colorado public land as non-resident.

Wasn’t that long ago you could get one for $850 to $950 no lodging. We did one 5 yrs ago for $650.

I think if a man really shopped around, he could find one real reasonable.

About $300 in Wyoming on a reduced price cow/calf tag but by no means a guaranteed harvest.

Inflation. Price goes up on everything.

Plus gas/drive time or airfare/rental truck and food/lodging. I get what you are saying though and do exactly that because I had more time than money
