Stuck a small hog right at sunset but my arrow hit high and lodged in the bone. No blood trail and my arrow is MIA. Probably should have sharpened my heads a little better

Pulled SD cards today. Big bucks went nocturnal 99%, only 3 deer come to a feeder during daylight. Based on data from 2 cameras, I would say my best chances are in the evenings now.

Overall, I think they are getting the message and we are only 3 weeks into the season.

From what I’ve seen, has only had the bucks moving early. Still really low doe sightings.

Had 6 does come within 30 yards but stayed in the thicket. Two were within 20 but I had no shot. Around 8:30a. Been quiet since, I’m still out here.

Are people having much luck hunting from tree saddles out at Lake Georgetown? It’s an interesting idea to me.

Is that thing not loud? I'm out here with just hand warmers. Had a forky about 30 yards from me munching on acorns for about an hour. No doe yet.

Had 4 does at my spot at 5:30. Too bad my lazy @$$ is sitting on the couch complaining about how cold it is in the house.
