Went to see this movie on Friday. A very good James Bond movie. But a few things concerned me. Why was it such a thing to find out that Q is gay? Just like all of Hollywood this movie had to change with the times. Love the movie even though it went WOKE.

Q is the position within R&D. His Character changes from time to time. Just like M has changed in the Daniel Craig series of bond films after Judy Dench’s character dies. Only a matter of time before one gets pushed for a role. Happens alot in the industry unfortunately.

Rumor is, they want a Gay actor to play the next bond. Or the actor playing "Q" is actually pulling for it. Saw an interview about it. But apparently he is in real life as well so maybe that's why. Who knows.

Good to hear it's good, I love Craig as Bond, not really looking forward to someone new. How much are tickets to something like that?! I am thinking how cool the scene would be where Bond flips his Aston on the road at night and wakes up in the fog.

I am super excited to see it, but with a 2 yo and 4 mo, I don't expect to see any new movies any time soon!

I really like Daniel Craig as bond too but I was underwhelmed by this one. I guess my expectations were too high.

Craig caught a lot of flack for his comments about this very subject. He said something along the lines of why feel the need to make Bond female. Just come up with another agent character similar to him who is female. Shouldn't change Bond himself. The woke world blew up on him.

I dont think I'd watch if it were a woman.

Bond's character is a womanizer. Thats part of what gets him in trouble.

I wouldn't mind Idris Elba though.

I enjoy the movies and watch whenever i catch them on TV but I'll admit im not entirely familiar with storyline. GF and i are going to watch this weekend... Which of the Craig movies (Casino Royale, Skyfall, etc) should we rewatch before, if any?

Casino Royale, Skyfall, Spectre, then No Time to Die is the order they came out in. I would suggest watching the whole Daniel Craig series for character development and changes within the agency that goes through several movies. I don’t want to spoil it for you if you haven’t seen them het.
