Recent Creek Find

I always enjoy seeing other members post their arrowhead finds so I figured I would do my part and contribute.

One of my better finds for north Texas. Found this one a couple of weeks ago. Hit the creek for 4 hours and this was the only find of the day, but man it was a good one.

If only you could hear the stories associated with it.

Broad heads today, So there I was machine razor sharp. I rode to the stand in a $30,000 golf cart. Was protected from mosquitoes with a thermocell. My handler had to refrain from laughing at post on TBH. As I sat knocked on a $1500 450 fps, tubular chassis, Mr buddy heater warmed, Starbucks coffee aroma filled morning. I blasted right over the shoulder of a nice buck. I plowed through the dirt. Lol.

Great find. I’ve been looking for years and have only found one. And it was a fluke...found it while filling a feeder.

My first one to find was a fluke. This was about 20 years ago. Was down in Pearsall for a hog hunt/javi hunt. Was on a 4 wheeler and stopped in the center of a 4 way sendero on top of a hill to drink a beer and do some glassing. After getting a beer out of the cooler, I said to my buddy "I hear they find arrowheads around here sometimes". Not 5 seconds after saying that, I looked down and between my feet laying on the sand was my first arrowhead.

Been looking at the ground ever since.
