Haha. I ain’t ever caught a good fish on them, but I was standing right next to Mexico the other day and he was popping trout after trout with a red or two mixed in. I couldn’t catch Covid.

Well last night wasnt bad. We made our way to Palacios and fished one of the piers. Landed 3 undersized trout, few undersized sheepshead, as many undersized black drum as we wanted. Nephew was able to land a legal black drum, his first.

Stayed out there way too late and overslept, missed the morning bite today. Went to the surf and the hardheads were thick, as expected. Loftin was able to catch a small blacktip as well.

Trying to gameplan for tonight.

Took advantage of all the overtime being banked and took off today. Matty harbor looked like a buccees parking lot. Ran west and slid up in some back lakes Mexico talked about. Boats galore but no body ready to work.

Found a bunch of 19" reds and some dink trout. My son managed a big red that pushed past 29 1/2" like a champ

Also saw the ending of a bad day

Must have been I met Tow Boat heading toward Greene’s yesterday. Looked like a parking lot out there.
