    Deer Processors - Best Boudin?

Id like to take a deer in somewhere this year and have a bunch of boudin made. Who would you guys recommend for the best venison boudin? (ideally within a 2 hour drive of Houston area)

Used to be Pure Cajun and they had good vension boudin. They sold/closed and Yellow Rose opened up there but I haven't gotten a chance to try his stuff yet.

While I am a HUGE fan of these guys, they have priced themselves out for me. They are now more than decent quality (not Ekards) store bought when it comes to $ per pound.

That and their sausage is top notch. I think their boudin is not.

Sorry op, I have yet to find a decent place so far, so I will be following.

I had them make it spicy last year for me and I thought it was good. However, I am not a boudin connoisseur by any means so your opinion weighs more than mine for those *******es that know all about boudin.

Lone Star Smokehouse in Manvel. Best Boudin I’ve had. Their sausage isn’t worth much, but I will be bringing 2 deer to them this year for all boudin!

Arnold’s in Hempstead. They have a pepperjack boudin that is awesome! I switched to them over Bellville 2 years ago!

My opinion is the same. Arnold’s is where I started going.

I used Zummo's many moons ago and it was good. It doesn't taste like the boudin they sell retail.
