Traditional Challenge Week 30 First Shot

[Briar Friar]

Draw a circle with an 8” inch circumference.
Make an aim point within the circle. Center or not.
Shoot for the aim point.
Shoot from sitting position.
Shoot from 14 yards for adult amd 7 yards for children.
One shot for the week. No more no less.
Measure edge of shaft to center of aim point.
Except DRT.
DRT….you dont get to measure.
Lowest measure wins.
No shots on target before Wednesday…unless your schedule dictates otherwise.

8” is a good kill circle for focus.

MrJake… Judging from last week, just aim a bit further right and I think youll be on.

Jr: 8 1/8” high right. Consistently. He doesnt offset low left. We had a good preshoot heehaw about how I was gonna offset the target high right and he’d aim center target butt. I shouldve followed through.
Briar: 4 1/8” dead center low on the outside of the 8” ring

Good shooting Reb. Nice offset aim point. I couldnt convince Jr to let me offset the target or aim point.

1 7/8” high. even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.


Disclaimer. It was at 13.5 yards because I backed up to my fence where I shoot this recurve at.
