12 packs
18 packs
20 packs
24 suitcase/ case for short.

If someone says get a case of beer he means 24, don’t come back with a dang 18 pack.

I’m a firm believer in 1 beer equals 1 beer no matter if it’s 12oz or 24oz but a case is a case of 24. But 40oz come in a case of 12, unless my high school years math is wrong.

My neighbor asked to borrow a truck a couple years ago to move some dirt. Offered me a case of beer in exchange

He brought back a 12 pack.
I I didn’t really care, but I did take the opportunity to pick on em for not knowing how many beers came in a case.
