I love beer and have been known to take a few with me to the blind when i'm sitting with a boom stick. However, when i'm fishing, i don't tend to drink much and have to force myself to stop and drink water through the day.

Used to and still will drink a few night fishing for crappie/catfish or back in the creeks chasing crappie/sandbass during the spring.

But...while bass fishing or daytime fishing in the sun it’s been Gatorade and water for a long time after having an overheating episode in my mid 30s.

I love beer and booze but not in the sun anymore..

This is where I’m at. I bass fish mainly so no beer for me unless I’m crappie or catfishing
