But this is the reason I no longer intentionally hunt with subsonic ammo. The result was a dead hog but less than ideal had he run off.

The only part that was less than ideal was the blood trail but I didn’t really look for it either. I hunt big open fields so I normally can watch them fall.

I also got some 576gr 458 bullets that should work nicely subsonic or not!
