It's pretty cool. I wish I could have stayed healthy long enough to compete in strong man at a high level. Too many football injuries to consistently train that heavy.

People don't realize how much effort goes into that stuff to get to that level. I think one of the coolest things about the show is how much the science has evolved, certain feats that were legendary, are not even so impressive any more, yet other things that guys managed to accomplish without nutrition, science, training, etc. Are really impressive.

I went to school with this guy.
He was a really good person always had a smile on his face.
He need an elective to graduate and the put him in ROTC , he couldn't find a uniform to fit him.
Learn all about Anthony Clark's career and what got him started in the first place. Also, find out what he thinks of fellow competitors!

He worked at Fast Times and Shark Dance also.
He came in Kroger's one day bought 4 -5 bags of groceries and I took them out for him. When I didn't see his van I asked where it was at. He got a funny look on his face and said , I rode my motorcycle up here.[emoji41]

I was watching a few weeks back and one of the competitors had some rainbow gear on. My initial thought was support of Pride month. Then they showed the guys husband and I immediately felt a shiver go down my spine thinking of what that guy goes through.

When I was competing the hardest part wasn't the training it was the eating. 5000 calories a day broken down between 10 meals a day gets old.

Have a friend who used to compete in state weightlifting championships. Has a wall full of trophies. He's 54 now and has had nine surgeries related to his years of competition.
