Has anyone ever done a trigger job on a Vanguard series 1. Is it pretty easy to do? I know I could always drop in a Timney, but just seeing if they are adjustable or not. Thanks for any input.

You basically just polish the top and face of the trigger, don’t remove any material r change the angle. I have only been able to get mine down to 2.5# by clipping a coil off the spring.

If you don’t understand how a trigger works and how to adjust it safely, don’t do it.

That’s what I was afraid of. For what my local GS costs I might as well buy a timney for it.
