Prayers up for Tommy. My ex BIL (good guy) has been on a ventilator, sedated, for 3 weeks. They're trying to wean him off gradually. Doctors are optimistic. Keep us updated.

10-4 on the updates.
I’m not bugging them on the regular, I doubt they like having to update peeps when the news isn’t of the positive variety.
I’ll hit them up in a few days if they don’t updated me before then.

Lord there are so many that this terrible disease has hurt. It is taking a serious toll on our Brother Tommy. We ask You Lord God, through the healing touch of Your hand, remove this evil from Tommy and heal him. Guide his care team to do Your work that brings healing. Give the family comfort and give them patience as You do Your work on Tommy. We lift him up to You Lord for protection, strength and healing that will bring him full restoration as a witness to You. In Jesus name we ask and pray, Amen.

Today’s update-
From his son-
Dad is the same. On the ventilator and his lungs haven’t cleared much, they are about to do another X-ray this afternoon. They did allow mom, my sister, my wife and I to go in and see him.

I asked if he was coherent during the visit.

He was barely awake, enough to know we were there. They told us he could hear us.

Heavenly Father, we lift Tommy up to you in prayer and ask that you breathe your life giving breath to fill Tommy’s lungs just as you breathed life into Adam. Lord we ask that you give knowledge to the physicians that are treating Tommy and use them to perform a miracle.
Lord we ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
Lord bring comfort to Tommy’s family as you heal his lungs. Amen.
