Best 6.5 Grendel upper?

In the process of building a light thermal 6.5 Grendel rig and wanted to get opinions on some good uppers out there. Don't want to take a cheap route and don't want to build an upper unless I have too. Budget is around $1,000.00 ish would like to get the green screens opinions. looking to do 16" but would settle for 18" max.

Bill Alexander, Alexander Arms builds uppers as good as anyone and he probably knows more about the Grendel than anyone. I got a 22" from him in the $700 range.

Alexander arms, LaRue and Grendel hunter are about the only three I’d buy from.
