Does anyone have any pet loads or bullet preference? Just looking at different options that are available.

Reloder 22 shoots better than Reloder 25 in my factory Weatherby, but I have to use a max charge of it. I use Hornady 110 gr Interbond bullets and WLRM primers. I am weird about bullet design and prefer to use bonded bullets in all my magnum calibers, other guys on here like VLD Bergers or ELD Hornady and have great success with those.
Those two powders or H1000 maybe a place to start for you, aint no rifle the same. Factory ammo comes with a crimp, I tried that and did not see any difference across the chrono or on paper. Good Luck. |

I don't shoot/hunt with mine as much as I use to. I simply prefer my 264 win mag.
but when I hunted with my 257 Roy a lot I loaded the 110gr Nosler Accubonds with 64 grains of IMR4350 and used a Federal 215 large rifle primer. it is right there on page 228 the #7 Nosler reloading guide |
