Thanks Hunter, here is a picture from last year. Do you still think he is 5.5?

I'm kinda on the fence as to his age.

Looks to be 5+ to me, but he does look like he could be 3 last year. That brisket says he’s 5+(to me anyway) though.

5.5+ Easy, leaning more toward 6.5. legs look short, full body, rounded out etc. eyes even seem to have some squint and chin has some sag.

Without last years pics, I would have said 6.5 but he looks lot younger there(although they are late December pics). I’m leaning 5.5 and 132”, nice brows but weak 4s. He’s a mature hill country stud regardless and I personally wouldn’t hesitate to take him

5.5 yrs 138ish. Very nice buck. Just started back hunting in west Texas after hunting in south Texas for 10 yrs. Trying to get use to mature bucks being 160lbs apposed to the 200lbs I'm use to seeing. I would be very excited to see bucks of that caliber on my lease in west Texas. Good luck

That deer is beyond 5 years. I would say 8. Who cares about score. That is a mature animal and worthy to be called a trophy.

5 years isn't an old deer.
