Default Santaís Workshop

Anyone else building home made gifts? Working on a bakery counter for my 3 year old.

Front and back faces cut out

Backside will have adjustable shelves in the middle and fixed shelves on each side.

Front will have bakery display shelves. Just a mock up to get spacing for now

Thatís really neat, sheís going to be baking all the goodies. She will be set fir the future tea parties that you will have to attend.

My youngest daughter mentioned the other day about making some cutting boards the other day so weíll see if I can get some time to help her.

Minor setback yesterday- I bumped the awning with a box and it fell. Better now than after paint. Way better than falling around the kids. Turns out the Kreg screws were almost touching so they pulled out. Time for a slight redesign which will be better anyway

Wow, I'm impressed you have a 3 year old and your wife doesn't complain about spending that much time in the barn. How do you like that Hawthorne building?

Good eye! I do a lot of the work on week days off or during nap time. Love the building. No complaints at all and Iíve had it about 6 years now. Solid product.

Had some thick black walnut so I made cutting boards with first letter of last name burned into it. I also made a set of walnut coasters for family.
