Metal D-Loop

Has anyone tried the metal D-Loops? I guess I have been sleeping under a rock or just not cool enough. But, I saw online an add for an aluminum D-Loop. Seems to me it would be noisy when attaching your release. Possibly slow the FPS down. I really don't see the upside. Just curious others thoughts or experience.

They were a fad before loops. They ... suck

They destroy releases and kill speed... and like you said. Metal to metal contact is rarely quiet

They add a lot of weight to your string, which means slower speed .
