                      Got two coats of urethane on today. The end grain blocks soak it up like a sponge so it doesn’t have that “finished” look yet but getting there. I have to head back to San Antonio so daughter will apply a couple more coats over next two days.




                      The leaves will slide in and store in each end. They each add 19” making the table just over 10’ when extended. They are just not in right now till finish is cured. They are attached to a wooden rail that slides in to the frame under the top. Here is leaves.


                      I’ll be back up next weekend most likely and will post a few finished pics including how the leaves work. Here is a shot of the underside of the top and you can see where the rails slide in.
