I have a 17 with the 6.2 a 3.73's and think it does just fine. I have had diesel f250s since 2001 and don't tow near as heavy now but need it on occasion. I have really been surprised on the mileage the diesels are getting. Followed a buddy to his lease to help him haul stuff back and on the trip out to san angelo from Burleson he was only showing about a 75 mile difference to empty and we had a strong head wind and he was empty and I was pulling a 20' extra wide lowboy and have a leveling kit. Sure it doesn't pull the same as my diesels but it gets the job done and with the fuel prices being around .80 different and only that kind of difference in mpg's I don't think it is that bad. lots of 6.2's with high mileage dependability as well. I just got gunshy with all the emissions crap on the new ones

Just picked up my 2019 f250 last week. For the guys that have installed level kits, are y’all just doing the blocks or the coil and shock?

Anyone have a good place to pick up the Ford emblem overlays?

I bought shorter rear blocks to drop the back to level mine. I put 35ís on it without any rub. The back of these things sit up higher than I like.

Have you towed your Rv with it at the stock height?

What’s the deal with the crazy trailer hook eyes? Is it just me or are others having difficulty with them? Other than that, it’s too knitch.
Thanks.

I dont own a bumper pull trailer, so dont use mine often, but they do suck. Too small, not sure what they were thinking with those.

Yea those are a fail. Buddy bought a new Chevy 3/4 and tow hooks and whole system sucks on them too. I’m sure a government funded agency discovered the old style that worked wasn’t good for the environment

I have a big fifth wheel toy hauler that I have pulled. Mine is a f350 and it does squat it some. Iíll put the new blocks on this week and see how it squats then. Worst case I put bags on it. It should be about the same as my 2012 the way it sat.

My 2012 had a pretty good squat with my 40ft fifth wheel. But this trucks rear seems to sit higher so Iíll see how it does next week. Also excited to see how it pulls.

Very interested to know if your truck squats flat when loaded or if he goes nose high.
If it squats flat, my fear of the higher rear new body style might be unjustified.
I had to immediately bag my 2011 because of going nose high under a moderate load.

My lil 5er already runs nose high when hooked up. The ~2.5" higher starting height of the new models bed has held me back from buying just yet.

Not bad at all, looks like it went from a slight rake to level.

Simple math has me thinking a 250 wouldn't fare so well under the same load.

So could you feel much of a difference tugging the load? (vs the 2012)

My new Ď19 250 is averaging 15.1 around town but only 14.5 on the highway without any load. Thoughts?

Yes considering my 2017 has significantly more power than my 2012 it pulled fairly well in my opinion. Not quite as good as my 15 duramax that was a dually of course but I was impressed how it pulled. Ride quality was better than my 2012 if I remember correctly. And I would agree I donít think a 250 would do as well as a 350 but Iíve always preferred a 1 ton and a long bed.

Maybe itís just not broken in a little yet. Maybe a few thousand miles on it and it should level out/ give you a better average. I get around 15 in town maybe 17-18 on the highway depending on my speed.

Bought my 2017 F-350 Crew Long Bed Platnium FX4 for 66,750.00 last March. Its about as nice as they come for both driver and passengers. When you see 871 miles to empty on that 48 gallon tank, you check to make sure there is a capped bottle somewhere in the cab.

After the holiday break, Ford finally scheduled my 2019 F250 XLT Premium FX4 CCLB 6.2/4.30 with a tentative build date for the week of Jan 28th. I'm hoping to pick it up mid-March.
