Where ya planning on puttin this Dale? We had one at the lease when I lived in Mississippi. We used to stuff it full of pine logs and it would get red hot. Couldnít get closer than 5í to it the heat was so intense.

Gonna put it under the party porch at camp for when itís raining, or too windy for a camp fire. 5í of radiant heat would exceed expectations, I just hope it makes it tolerable under there and doesnít smoke to much.

Havn't done any work since Friday night, but I did get the torch hauled over from dad's, and my hinges came in yesterday.

I started on the air shutter, and the door latch Friday.

**** thatís wayyyy more fancy than the one we had. Screw in draft control, pffffft open the door in the bottom! Thatís when that sucker would get red hot.

How did you radius the flat bar or angle on the part that looks like a drawer on bottom? What size flue pipe are you gonna have?

The tin situation is gonna get re worked when time allows, this is somewhat temporary because itís ****in cold. The radiant heat is impressive, still learning the air input, I think we need an adjustable damper, but I allowed for that. So far it has exceeded expectations.

Itís cold out here.
