    Leaf identification

My daughter is doing a leaf identification project and we can’t figure this one out. Any resident arborists on here that can offer some insight?

Picture of tree, bark, green leaf, and location would help. Tough to ID a leaf in that condition. Not sure if shes just picking them up off the ground or pulling off trees?

She was just picking them up off the ground in the neighborhood so I don’t know anything about the tree. And of course she is her father’s daughter and waited to do this today when it’s due Tuesday.
