I’d like to know their price too. Trying to figure out if I should buy a pallet of corn from Bucees in Luling and haul it to Bracketville or pick it up in Hondo. I tried calling L&E, but couldn’t get an answer

Edit: they finally answered. L&E has corn for $7.50. You save $4 if you buy a whole pallet.

Support your local feed stores. We just paid $8.60/50 lb. bag

I think my dad usually made about .10-.15 per bag of corn depending on where they get it.

I should've added that the corn we paid for is also "flavored" & bagged in plastic so I'm sure that has some to do with it. The main point I was trying to make was that I would personally rather buy corn from a small town feed store than buying from Buc-ee's/Academy/Tractor Supply/etc.

Totally understand, no use spending $$ with a outsider or big box retailer, instead of a local dealer or producer

I buy corn from Lyssy and Eckel in Llano or HEB in Burnet or Lampasas, but don't know the current prices. Lyssy and Eckel has been cheaper in the past, and they load it for you. I really like the Mummies corn at HEB and the sack strength is good. Both are good. If you buy protein as well, Lyssy and Eckel would only involve one stop.

Llano feed and supply is usually $6.50 a 50lb bag for a pallet but I haven't bought any in a couple months.
