Ok. So my clothes are treated with permethrin and I use thermocell.

However, these little pin head size bugs tore me up on saturday. Are these oak mites or something else. And, what is my best course of action to prevent this other than covering every possible skin access they have (mask, gloves, long sleeves, etc.)

unfortunately no. all I can tell you is they are smaller than knatt size.

Noseeums will do that. Go right thru face netting. They love a bald head more than anything.

no-see-ums more than likely...go look at pictures of them from a microscope, theyre nasty little buggers.

Buffalo gnats ? Because they will tear your butt up. If so, Avon Skin So Soft mixed 50/50 with water will keep them at bay.

How well does Thermacell work against keeping these away?

I think that is the same thing that always seems to try and get in my eyes. Only time I see them is when they are right in front of my face
