Ciervo Iberico! Iberian Red Stag!
I’m so excited and thankful to hunt this incredible animal in Europe. It’s been a tough year of hunting as I was 0 for 3 on hunts this year, some for reasons beyond my control. This hunt has a long story but in a nutshell I was gifted this hunt if I could just get to Madrid. A supportive wife and family, including work family, and my airfare was purchased a few weeks ago and here we are.
In my heart this hunt represents so much for me. The biggest, as I preach to my boys every morning, do the right thing even if no one is looking and expect nothing in return. How you treat people means more than anything to me and karma is real and undefeated. The week, really the day, I received the call was the good lords perfect timing and I couldn’t miss the message.

Oh yea, my European name is Adri, pronounced Ah-dri. I like It.
My amigo, G, who is from Monterrey, Mexico and who invited me killed his 3rd Ibex, the Gredos Ibex, a Roe deer, and two Stag. We hunted the Northern point of Spain, to the southern point of the Spain/Portugal border.
We took 6 animals in 7 days of hunting, all free range.
