    Lodging Estes Park

Thinking of heading to Colorado in October. Any information would greatly be appreciated.

Ghost tour at the Stanley was kindve neat. I don't think I would stay there though.

Bear paw resort. Stayed there in 20 and 21. It's maybe 15 minutes from park entrance

Love me some Estes. Elk on the golf course should be warming up. There's a loop you can drive just out of town that usually has some good ones.

Stanley is cool but you need to call ahead for a tour.

      Elkins distillery
      Rock Inn
Bird and Jim's is a must eat

We have stayed at Rockmount Cottages several times. Highly recommended.

We just started a week at a summit cabin at the YMCA. Nice resort. Plenty to do for kids. Cabin was big and secluded. $379 a night.

Stayed at the Estes Resort in town, pretty nice place with a dang good restaurant.
Just as many elk in town as in the mountains. Lol

Paradise on the River. It is on the Big Thompson River.

Aspen winds on Fall River. Prettiest place to be in the fall.

No joke! We stayed at a small Air BnB and sat in the hot tub at night watching elk eat at 40 yards.

We stayed here the year before they had the big flood. It was a great place to stay and close to the North entrance of the park.

My wife and I honeymooned there in December and did the same exact thing! If you go the Airbnb route find one with a private hot tub!

We did a VRBO last October. Easy drive to the park and close to town! I enjoyed driving around town viewing wildlife and hiking in the park
