Called it years back it, im convinced it was a sales tactic.
It's not really a sales tactic. The equipment to support the 3g network is outdated. With companies moving forward with new technology they dont want to have to support the new equipment and the old equipment that is outdated. In the big picture, its a very small amount of people still using the 3g network.
My entire house shut down..
No phone, no tv, no internet...
I don't know if 5g had anything to do with it.
But last Thursday, my modem, got smoked..
Oh when AT&T showed up Friday, they swore 5G didn't have
anything to do with it.... I ain't so sure..
I still have one working and wonder if it will really quit at the end of the month.
Any of yawls quit yet?
Had my last 3g (2016) quit working at my lease in Christoval. Covert let me buy a new one for $200 to replace it with nothing but requesting the older camera serial number. I’m ok with it. Brand new camera, better pic and technology for a solid discount. Humper on my lease did the same ..
With that same 2016, I was able to get a new 2019 for $150 when the talk about shutting down 3G started. They let me continue to use both which I needed anyway … win win.
My 3g Spartans quit in October at my place in NW Oklahoma, but I’m not sure they didn’t do me a favor. The 4g Spartans are exponentially better than the 3g cameras in my opinion.
