secondary thread. Looks like Brady BBQ is mediocre at best.
we are driving through from the N (Brownwood? 12:00-2:00?) and want to pick up BBQ to take with us for dinner tomorrow nite at camp.

Is there better BBQ in Brownwood or elsewhere (not adding significantly to the 9.5 hr drive) on the route? too far north and they will not be open when we come through

Shed's in Abilene is good. Sounds like it might be a bit out of your way. Honestly, for BBQ you are eating 6+ hours after pickup I would just stick to Brady.

Mac's has only been open 35 years that I know of, and it looked old 35 years ago.
