    Can I eat this thing raw?

    Friends kid brought this home from AK. Wild Sockeye. Was thinking about a dry cure also but whatever way I go I want to do it right. Can I just bust out the ponzu, chili, and soy and get after it?

      Yes as long as it’s been frozen your good to go! Hard to beat on the grill skin down for 6min then flip for 1 min. Looks like sockeye.

                Slap some cream cheese on a bagel, thinly slice the sockeye and lay it on top with some onion… legit

                              Yes. Don't mix it with other stuff like cream cheese. Just a little salt, and dive in. The natural flavor is amazing.

                              If you absolutely need to serve it on something, then a saltine.
