    Field Archery Question

Thinking of trying a little field archery with my trad bow next year and had a question. I have shot it once in the past with a compound and enjoyed it and thunk with a trad bow it could be real fun. I looked on the TFAA website and it said that traditional class could be shot from the kids stakes, does anyone know if that is the norm? To me the draw is the 80 yard shots, and if trad shoots from the kid stakes, i will probably skip it.

Also if anyone shoots trad field archery and has some pointers, toss them out there.

    Thanks

When I shot in field archery I shot in the bow hunter class I did not care I was shooting against compound with sights. I just shot for myself and enjoyed it.

I’m not completely sure, but think I have read somewhere that the max is 50yds for trad in field archery.

You shoot the same distance as the wheel guys. 80 yds. and under. Shot it last year and it was a blast.
