Has anyone came across a non name brand cooler like the Yeti and Rtic that doesn’t brake the bank?

Something like the 20qt for around $100? Or larger for $150?

I have the little Ozark Trail which is the size of a yeti roadie. It doesn't keep ice like a yeti.

I'd watch for sales and buy RTIC. I have a RTIC 45 and it's been great.

I bought a 28qt lifetime at walmart and its been awesome. Its my boat cooler and it holds ice well! Its 2 years old and still going strong

Got one from Wal Mart 50 quart for $100 I think its called Lifetime. Riding in truck a year
holds ice hadn't grew legs. I'm happy.

Screw all the Chinese coolers, go with a Cordova. They had an awesome sale earlier this year, made in America and I like mine better than my yetis

Look at Rugid coolers, they are on sale and have 35 Qt and 20 Qt that are in those price ranges. Veteran owned company and have awesome customer service. I have one of there bow cases and a zipper broke so they sent me a brand new case no questions asked!

if I hunted somewhere i could not get ice. I would get on this train. When I hunted Del Rio years ago and the only store was Loma Alta and it was 1hr from the ranch ok. I see the heavy super ice chest. But Every marina has ice. Gas station etc. I can buy lots of .99 bags of ice. When camping. Get you a counter top ice maker for drink ice.

Geez, didnt realize there were so many of these coolers around. I guess I'll throw my Igloo in the mix. Was in a bind and grabbed one from Academy. Seems fine the few times I used it.

I love my lifetime cooler for a fraction of the price of yeti or rtic. Holds ice well, lid latches are way easier to use than the yeti style.

I bought a brand that i had never heard of before. The name is Nice. It's a knock off of a yeti roady. It hold ice extremely well, i think it was 75 dollars.

I’ve got an rtic 20 I’ll sell ya for $100. Don’t remember what I paid for it and it’s a little stained up from use but I won a yeti 20 from work and don’t need both

I personally have a Magellan and an Icehole...both were given to me. They work fine. But when I buy a cooler, I always get Igloo. They work for what I need and nobody steals them!!

I have the Yukon 115. It’s a great cooler and Holds ice for days. I don’t have any experience with Rtic to compare. The only thing that I don’t like about it is the feet on the bottom. Makes it dang near impossible to push or pull it out of the truck. But overall I really like the cooler

I shot a spike back when we had the snow in mid January. Instead of buying ice I packed the cooler full of snow. I had to wait 2 complete weeks before I could get to meat and even then half the snow was still in there. Granite it was cold most of that time but there was still a few days it was getting into the 60s and the cooler was just in the middle of the yard.

I grabbed their big cooler over the Xmas holiday and so far it’s pretty good and weighs much less than my grizzly and RTIC. Feels cheaper but has been good so far. Plus it came with two dividers and a basket which I love for separating axis from whitetail.

Yepp, lighter, better handles, latches way easier to use, and the lid won't fall over on you while you are trying to get something out.

I have a Lifetime cooler and it has done well. I am sure not as good as other high end stuff, but better than the cheap-o's.

I also have a couple of their folding tables.

In my opinion
Absolutely

I put it in a walk-in cooler at my local store pulled it out and filled it completely with ice
Closed it up and put in the truck and went to Sonora Tx
Got there 6 hrs later and half of it was melted

Few months later got me an Rtic filled it with ice and rolled to Sonora Tx again got there and still full of ice at even much hotter temps than with the Bison

Maybe it was a bad one a lemon or what ever you wanna call it
I won’t purchase another one

Have a bison and it’s really good no problems keeping ice
It’s been living in the truck bed over 5 years holds ice well ( in south Texas summer heat and coastal areas)
Also have a 100 qt pelican like it to ( it’s kinda tall and sticks up over the bed rails)
