Even after he shows up I wouldn't expect a ton of loyalty to anybody but himself.

That being said he's a heck of a running back and I wouldn't be upset if he wore maroon next year, but he is likely a Tiger. Hard to blame him.

I know he has talent. But, if he is anything like the head case and bad attitude being reported is the talent worth it. Never know on how much is over hyped or real when it comes to some of the stories. Certainly do not need a locker room cancer.

if LSU believes they are already in, while UGA plays like their lives are on the line, this one could go to the wire.

uga has the best defense in the SEC! 1st 2nd or 3rd in the country. while tbh can assume a blowout, LSU players better not.

If you go back to some of my previous post i agree with this... i believe anyone that “misses” on him may actually come out ahead! With that said maybe he’ll mature and catch up to his immense talent

The level of talent directly influences the level of determination a coach has to convince himself he can fix him.

It's so much easier to recognize good character than bad in a situation like this. Maybe the young man got a bad rap, maybe he is a PITA that won't add value to the team.

Id rather have a really good running back show up at TAMU and give 100% for the team than the very best who is unmanageable and just looking out for himself

Jimbo spoke about managing players a while back and knowing which ones to skip being so difficult - the offer is still in place at TAMU so evidently Jimbo thinks he can be managed.

mac, OU will have handed baylor their only two losses. i cant see utah over OU at all realistically.

OU this year went from 104 nationally to 34th in defense. with a top 5 offense, and a fan base that travels well, the committee would be on opium to take utah over OU.

I "think" Big 12 gets in over Utah regardless of if it's Bears or Sooners. If it's Sooners, they just beat the #7 in the nation (again). That has to propel them over Utah? If it's Baylor, they just beat the #6 team in the nation and avenged their only loss... that probably trumps any bump Utah would get from beating a now 3 loss Oregon team.

If it doesn't I'm not sure what, when or how they make the next move. Texas went and gave an extension to a coach that had apparently had some luck with last years run and now they are firing everyone including the janitor. My how things change in the blink of an eye.

Saturday marked the 14th time in 20 seasons A&M has been .500 or worse in-conference and the 18th time over the same span they've won fewer than 65% of their conference games. As bad as Texas has been, they've only had 4 seasons of .500 or worse over the same two decades (2010, 2011, 2015, 2016).

Texas gave Herman the extension because of recruiting. Every school does it in some fashion, but if the coach does not have enough years on his contract to cover the class he is recruiting, it is going to get heavily negative recruited against because of that.

The Sugar Bowl and Big 12 Title Championship appearance made it easier to pass, but schools do it all the time to coaches.

The game in Death Valley Saturday night was awesome. I know it wasn't much of a game but the atmosphere and being there was incredible. The ovation Joe got when he came out for senior night with his name spelt Burreaux the whole place that was already standing went crazy. And then Calling Baton Rouge playing at the start of the 4th quarter followed by Joes curtain call is just hard to explain. It was awesome.

I have to believe that CEH is gone. Unfortunately I think Jefferson will go also. Luckily Marshall and Chase will be back at WR but we are going to replacing a lot of big names this next season. Would suit me just fine if we go ahead and win it this year! Geaux Tigers! We do have a couple of good recruits and RSF to step in when their number is called but this is our best shot! The program has taken the next step though and that is what counts.
