I can't imagine it affecting the hunts in the main reserve, and by the time the Bahia Grande hunts begin, those brush pile fires will be a distant memory.

There was an article in the local newspaper that this was indeed a controlled burn at the Bahia Grande NWR. The fire was massive and made all of Brownsville hazy.
