See my posts from last year. They are trying to screw it up. They want to make it a park and tourist attraction. Even the deer are leaving it.

Out here now. Yesterday end up being a scout day in the rain.

Driving in there are a few folks hunting. So far I’ve herd multiple shots from different directions.

      Good luck if you’re hunting

Spent all day yesterday out. Cold and rainy day. No movement.

Headed back out to some sign I found scouting, today. White oaks dropped, tons of acorns around my usual spots.

Saw a couple vehicles on the drive in, but I hunt the east side, not 45/1375 area

Haven’t checked in here in a long while. The Sam forum used to have over a 100 pages per season. The good ole days….
Anyhow I’ve been gearing up for a hunt in Muzzleloader season, anyone else going to venture out with the smoke pole?

Has anyone done any hog hunting this summer? I don’t normally go during the warmer months, but have been debating on going. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck lately.

Must of been a public outcry to get the rules changed.

Drove thru the forest today. Sure looks like a park. Under brush is just a couple feet high and trees look pruned up to 15 feet. Going to be tough to hide if you are a deer. Saw almost 2 dozen vehicles at 1 trail head parking but as few as 3 at other trail heads. Going to be tons of traffic when weather cools off.

I’m sure the guy that got his animal confiscated last year appreciates that.

Yeah, first thing that popped into my head.

Seeing plenty of deer on camera, with hogs as well. Looking forward to this year.
