Timing a ripcord ace.

Can this be done without a draw board? The vids I have watched online involved drawing the bow back to check the timing marks. I do have a portable press so tying in the cord to the buss is not an issue.

I am thinking I could pull it off of my scale, visually check timing marks and check tension. Let the bow down and tie it in. Am I on track here?

Doesn’t matter. Bow master press failure. To the shop I go. Luckily it wasn’t under much pressure when it popped.

That’s the best way to get perfect timing. I don’t have access to a draw board and so I just do the first method you mentioned. Either way works
