Ok started building longbows and reflex deflex bows a while back and seemed there needed to be a better bow sock. I designed these myself with a flat bottom, carry handle and shoulder strap, and a draw string top. I had them made from canvas duck because it seems it would be more durable and easier to waterproof and then had sherpa material put on the inside to better protect the bows. Do you think it will be adequate or do you have any suggestions or improvements? Have a friend out of state sewing them up for me currently but I'd be interested in anyone having tips on doing it myself and what type of sewing machine I'd need for that and leather sewing so I can put together some DIY posts.
