Finally got a chance to wet a hook and went by a local rainbow trout stocked pond. Me an a buddy caught 17 in an hour with super dupers.
Got them smoking now. I’m finna eat!

That looks good! I caught a limit last week - pan fried those.

Went yesterday afternoon to an different place and it was a circus. Prob 200 people fishing and I only saw two fish caught in the hour I was there.

How long will these trout live in the stock ponds? I assume they wound make it through the heat of the summer?
