Please turn off my thread email notifications. I don't even know how I turned them on.

are you getting emails from threads to which you are subscribed?

Go to the home button and click your user cp.
there you can find subscriptions and modify how you are notified.

On the top menu click on User Tools.












From that menu click on User CP









Go to the left side of the page and scroll down to Edit Options ..click on it











Scroll down to the middle looking for Default Thread Subsciption mode and look at the end for a drop down menu. Click on it and chose No Email Notifications. That should do it

That's the wrong box. Go to the box for Default Thread Subscription and set it to Do Not Subscribe.

I think I got. We'll see. My "user tool" in the top bar doesn't work but I went through my profile to get to cp
