Your source is crazy! It’s high everywhere but that’s the highest I’ve seen. I quit feeding it when it hit $280 a ton

They can choke on it at that price. The shoveling and extra time/work/hauling was attractive when there was big disparity between it and protein....

Well it’s cheaper than L&E protein.


And not much cheaper at that. Definitely not worth the trouble. L&E is still a better deal at their ridiculous prices.

One factor you guys should consider is that you don't have to contend with coons when feeding cottonseed... They just don't like it very much, and it plugs 'em up...

That’s what got me using cottonseed over 5 years ago. I didn’t have to worry about coons. If the prices ever go back down I will feed it again. In the meantime I’m sticking with protein pellets and Coonhood’s
